Emily Foley
Former student Emily Foley works at North Carolina State University as an Extension Associate with the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) at NC State University

She provides initial and on-going training support to program staff. 

The program serves limited resource families and school-aged youth by providing hands-on educational sessions with the goals to improve dietary intake, nutritional practices, food resource management practices, food safety practices and to increase daily physical activity. 

Foley worked as an editor and reporter on The Ranger and The Fourth Write during her days at the college. 

After leaving San Antonio College in 2005, Foley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences with a concentration in nutrition from NC State University and a Master of Science degree in nutrition from Meredith College.
