Tyler Cleveland, a former photographer for The Ranger, has a photograph in the National Geographic website.
As a student photographer, Cleveland won second place from the Society of Professional Journalists in sports photography for "Ragin' Rangers." The photo, published Feb. 20, 2009, captured a Ranger basketball player pushing an opponent out of his way to make a layup.
