A long-standing tradition in the Loftin Student Center newsroom is the proud wearing of The Ranger T-shirts as staffers fan out across the campus on days the newspapers hit the stands.

Shirts are courtesy of Friends of the J School San Antonio College and are awarded to Ranger staffers after they publish a story for the first time. The first printed issue hit stands Sept. 15, but with daily online news, shirts already were being awarded.
